Description

A must for photographers, bird lovers, and sight-seers! On the trip to the island, you’ll watch pelicans, gulls, and other beach birds in their natural habitat. Weather permitting, swimming and snorkeling may also be encouraged.

The tour begins at 7:00 a.m. Nueva Gorgona. We’ll take a shuttle to Punta Chame and board the boat. You’ll get an ocean-side view of Chame Hill, one of Panama’s volcanic domes. We’ll briefly stop for photos at the entrance to the Chame River, which feeds the population of Chame Bejuco and San Carlos with fresh drinking water.

We’ll travel around Isla Otoque to the pier, where you’ll have 30 minutes to explore in-town and another 30 minutes to enjoy the beach.

• Ages 6+, under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Pickup location is Playa Pescador, Nueva Gorgona (subject to change).
• There is a four-person minimum and a 20-person maximum for this activity.
